Due to my use of ad blockers and PiHole I did not know that Disqus injects ads into your site if you use their comment section. Looking on my phone the other day, I was horrified to see TWELVE ADS on my articles, all of which are utter TRASH.
The only ads I will ever allow are for products that I personally use and recommend, that is my promise to those that read my blog, or watch my Youtube content.
So, I am pulling Disqus from my site, never to return.
This means that I will not have a comment section on my site for the time being, and I don't really mind - but for those that have left comments: email me! I enjoy emailing back and forth with people and it also gives me ideas for future articles or videos.
